Acting as Layout Editor and website manager for Leland Quarterly has been the most demanding and challenging of all my design work, but also the biggest labor of love. I came to the position when the publication was very much in its infancy— although there had already been a volume printed, I had to recreate all the layout files from scratch. I built a team for the magazine’s layout to increase the sustainability of the publication (lit mags tend to have short life spans at Stanford), and created a large, dynamic website including online archives of all the magazine’s entries from the first issue.
